These Terms & Conditions apply to all car hire bookings made through GoCar. By using our website or confirming a reservation, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Our Service

GoCar is a booking platform that connects customers with local car rental providers in Alicante and the surrounding region. We do not own cars ourselves. Each car is supplied by an independent rental company. The final rental agreement is signed directly between you and the local provider at the time of pickup.

Booking Confirmation

All reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
You will receive a confirmation email with booking details and pickup instructions.
The rental company may contact you directly to verify arrival time or additional information if needed.

Prices and Payment

Prices displayed include mandatory insurance and taxes unless stated otherwise.
Some rentals may require payment on arrival (debit card or cash depending on the provider).
No Credit Card and No Deposit options are available only for selected cars and companies.

Driver Requirements

A valid driving license is required.
The minimum driver age depends on the rental provider (commonly 21-25 years).
Some companies may apply a young driver surcharge.

Pickup and Return

Please bring your passport or ID and driving license when collecting the vehicle.
The car must be returned at the agreed time and location.
Fuel policy (Full-to-Full, Same-to-Same, etc.) will be shown during booking and confirmed on pickup.

Cancellation

Free cancellation is available on most cars if done before the rental start time. Some providers may apply a short-notice cancellation fee. Please check the cancellation policy displayed during booking.

Insurance and Responsibility

Insurance coverage details are shown for each car before booking.
In case of damage, accident or breakdown, you must inform the rental company immediately.
Optional full insurance may be offered to reduce or remove liability.

Changes to Booking

Changes to booking details (dates, pickup time, car type) depend on availability and may affect the final price. Contact us or the rental company as early as possible to adjust your reservation.

Limitation of Liability

GoCar is not responsible for additional charges, refusal of service or disputes arising between the customer and the rental provider. Our responsibility is limited to facilitating the reservation.
